Daddy Halsin

My Procreate app lagged so much while I was drawing Halsin because I had to create so many separate layers for his armor and body lol, BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT.

In the midst of drawing Halsin, I had a genius idea of turning it into a phone wallpaper - where the locked wallpaper is armored Halsin, and the homescreen is topless Halsin. See example of the wallpaper in action here on my TikTok.

I’m also attaching some photos of the holographic Astarion photocards I gave away with every purchase of any of my Baldur’s Gate 3 fanart during SGCC. (I should start this tradition of giving away gag gifts for comic con every year eh? Last year I gave prints of Alicent’s feet hahaha)

Anyway I have decided, 2024 will be the year I descend into making degenerate art.

Blade of Frontiers

Immortalising this moment- the voice actor for Wyll Ravengard -Theo Solomon- left a comment on my post! (I am crying, screaming and throwing up)

Here’s the artwork I made of The Blade of Frontiers with Mizora. I used the rotational symmetry tool on Procreate again, and I think it’s cool that you can flip the artwork either way.

The Hellion's Heart

I thought I’d make the blogpost slightly more interesting by adding some process shots of how the artwork came to be. Scroll the gallery to see the artwork from sketch, flat colors, and the final artwork.

Usually I’d have a pose for the character in my head, and I’ll start looking for references for the pose before I start sketching and I'll slowly work out the details (I especially love drawing faces, so I start with detailing it first) the other clothing or weapon details I usually add them in once I am happy with how the face and hair looks.

God, I love my muscle mommy Karlach (and Baldur’s Gate 3!!!) so much. AND YES THAT IS SHADOWHEART’S BUTT

Baldur's Gate 3

I have been spending a lot of time on Baldur’s Gate and I was inspired to draw the pasty vampire elf, Astarion. My justification is that it is ~on brand for me (jk, I’m just obsessed)

I see my own art improve with every artwork I put out. There are some that I rushed and are not too pleased with how they turned out but overall I see myself improving over the years and I just want to say that I am quite proud of myself for it.
